Hi! I'm Amy.
ugh
TL;DR
Cost: Coaching sessions are $125 and are 45 minutes long. You don't have to sign up for a package or make any commitment, you are welcome to have sessions as often as you'd like- once a week, once a month, quarterly, or anything in between. If $125 is beyond your budget, book an info session and let's talk*.
Where: Sessions take place on Zoom or over the phone.
My not-so-secret mission is to free us all from the burden of normality.
Not TL;DR
'It feels so good to talk about this out loud' is a phrase I hear over and over again. So much of our lives happen inside of our heads, shaped by status quo, in service of 'normal'. The reason coaching works so well, to me, is that you take what is swirling inside your head and explain it, out loud, to another person whose sole purpose is to listen and be interested in what you have to say.
I founded Rebellion Coaching because looking at life through the status quo limits our options. My coaching practice is where clients can find a sense of curiosity and learning beyond that status quo frame - a place to rebel - thoughtfully.
Often coaching is about reaching your highest potential or optimizing yourself for productivity and profit. Rebellion Coaching isn't about the same old, same old. It's about saying the quiet parts out loud without fear or shame. It's about figuring out your needs and capacities, and understanding that they aren't constant or immovable- they are fluid and active. It's about being willing to live in the complexity of life rather than chasing normality or sameness. It's about coach and client coming together to create a non-judgemental space of trust, curiosity, and presence. In that space we discover ALL of what the emerging future is trying to say, which goes way beyond 'driving results'. And because we learn rather than fix, you come to a deep understanding of who you are and want to be in the parts of your ever-changing life.
Working with a life coach is different than talking with a friend or a partner, because our sole purpose is you: your self discovery, your learning, your desired outcome. And since I don’t have any stake in your outcome, I can be a safe and curious partner in your self exploration. You don’t have to show up as anything but yourself.
I believe coaching is an important part of mental health and should not be priced as a luxury. I coach by appointment, which means you don't have to sign up for a package or make a months long agreement with me. I charge $125 per 45 minute session. I also offer sliding scale rates if my rate is out of budget for you - let's talk about it*.
*The conventional "best practices" in capitalism often create a toxic dynamic: clients scrambling for maximum value at minimum cost, while business owners chase profits with minimal effort. At Rebellion Coaching, we reject this contradictory way of doing business. We challenge the endless pursuit of profit for hoarding wealth. This rebellious approach shapes our pricing and pacing, ensuring we're not caught in the capitalist trap of chasing endless growth- personally or financially. Once we hit our "enough" goal, we resist the pressure to endlessly expand. Instead, we focus on deepening our impact and nurturing our skills and community. It's not about more, more, more - it's about better, deeper, and more meaningful.
